ask the team
Still unsure where to begin? Reach out to the studio and we’ll help you choose the class that feels right for you.
We recommend starting with RE:SET to rebuild strength and stamina while focusing on form. It’s a supportive way to ease back into movement and prepare your body for our higher-intensity classes.
While you’re welcome to take any class, we recommend beginning with RE:SET. This class dials back the pace and intensity a little, giving you time to get acquainted with the equipment and feel successful.
Or, if you want the energy and a killer workout but aren’t quite ready for the equipment, try RE:SCULPT first.
Feel free to jump into any class. If you’re looking for a more athletic, higher-intensity workout, try RE:FORMER or RE:MIX. If you’d prefer to ease in, start with RE:SET.
Not feeling the equipment for your first visit but still want a killer workout? Start with RE:SCULPT
While every class is open level and you’re welcome to join any class as a new client, this guide can help you choose the right fit for your first visit.
Choose your preferred studio, class, and time. Then arrive a few minutes early so we can help you get settled.

Grip socks are required for class. Bring your own, or purchase a pair at the studio if you don’t have any yet. We carry Lucky Honey socks. We may be biased, but we think they have the best grip on the market.
Bring a reusable water bottle with you. We have a water cooler where you can re:fill whenever you need, but bottled water is not available for purchase in the studio.
Come a little early to meet your instructor, get settled, and become acquainted with the equipment. Your instructor will give you a rundown of the reformer and explain what to expect during class.
GOOD TO KNOW
Absolutely. Every RE:FORM LAB class is open level, and instructors provide options for both newer and more experienced clients.
If you’ve never used a reformer, we recommend beginning with RE:SET so you have time to become familiar with the equipment and movement. You’re also welcome to begin with BARRE: if you want a great workout without starting on the reformer.
No. RE:FORM LAB is a contemporary Pilates studio offering creative, innovative reformer workouts set to fun, high-energy music.
Not at all. Although BARRE: draws inspiration from dance and ballet principles, it is not a dance class. No dance experience or coordination is required—just come ready to move.
All RE:FORM LAB classes are 45 minutes. For your first visit, plan to arrive 10 minutes early so you have time to meet your instructor, get settled, and become acquainted with the equipment.
Wear comfortable, form-fitting activewear that allows you to move freely and will not get caught in the equipment. Bring a reusable water bottle and grip socks.
RE:FORM LAB is a shoeless studio, and grip socks are required for every workout. You may bring your own or purchase a pair in the studio
Classes should be booked in advance through the RE:FORM LAB website. Space is limited, and a spot cannot be guaranteed for walk-ins.
For safety reasons, clients cannot enter class more than five minutes after the scheduled start time. Please arrive at least five minutes before every class—and 10 minutes early for your first visit—so you have enough time to check in and get set up.
Clients who are pregnant are welcome to attend after being cleared by their medical provider. Please speak with your instructor before class so they can provide appropriate modifications.
If you’re returning from an injury, we recommend beginning with RE:SET to rebuild strength and stamina while focusing on form. Let your instructor know about any injuries or limitations before class, and consult your medical provider when determining whether group classes are appropriate for you.
We love kids, but for safety reasons, cannot accommodate kids sitting in the waiting area while a caregiver takes class. No kids under the age of 16 are allowed in class with the exception of baby + me classes.
RE:FORM LAB has a strict 12-hour cancellation policy for all bookings. Cancellations or changes must be completed online at least 12 hours before the scheduled class time. Cancellation requests sent by email are not considered valid.
Cancellations made more than 12 hours before class are considered early cancellations, and the class credit will be returned to your account. Cancellations made within 12 hours of class are considered late cancellations and will result in the loss of the class credit.
Clients who do not cancel and do not attend class will also be charged a $10 no-show fee.
